GSHK Solar
Group Solar was founded in Tucson, Arizona USA in 1982 in association with Global Solar. As the founder of CIGS thin film solar cells and CIGS Flex Panels in 1984, and has since come a long way;
from creating the first ever flex solar cell in the world, to producing more than 50 million panels in CIGS thin film and more than 11 million mono solar panels in its history.
Group Solar Hong Kong (GSHK) opens its first production facilities in Tucson Arizona and receives government support for the implementation of particularly environmentally friendly production concepts in 1982.
